Scientists Find A Big Bad Bird
On October 26 scientists said that they have discovered a giant terror birds skull and foot bones, it is now the largest bird ever discovered. This giant terror bird is 10 feet tall and weighs about 400 pounds! The giant fossils were dug up by a high school student in 2004. The giant birds head was bigger than a horses and romed the grounds of Argintina. The fossil is about 15 million years old. Scientists used to think that the bird was slow but now think that it was fast and ate small animals. The terror bids belongs to the phorusrhacid family.
